WU Cong received her B. Eng. degree in Electronic and Information Engineering from Beihang University (BUAA) in 2012 and MS degree in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering from City University of Hong Kong in 2013. She is currently a Ph. D. student at the Dept. of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering of the City University of Hong Kong. Her research interests include Micro/Nano-structure fabrication and Micro/Nano fluidic systems.

 

WANG Yufan (王宇帆), at CityU

Yufan Wang received his BS degree in communications engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU) in 2014, where he was also a volleyball player in the varsity volleyball team. His BJTU team won the Chinese University Volleyball Association (CUVA) Super Cup Championship in Nanjing in 2010. Since 2014, he has been pursuing his PhD research work at the City University of Hong Kong.  He has represented CityU to win the Volleyball Champion of the University Federation of Hong Kong (USFHK) in 15/16; he has also represented Hong Kong Men’s Volleyball Team to win the Volleyball Champion of the Four-Regions (Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau) in 15/16 as well. His current research interests are in the area of wearable cyber physical devices, inertial measurement unit, artificial intelligence, and  sports motion analysis.
LI Pan (李盼), at SIA, CAS

Li Pan received her B. Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering and Automation from Zhengzhou University, Henan, China, in 2012. Now, she is currently working towards a Ph. D. degree in the State Key Laboratory of Robotics, Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenyang, China. Her research interests include OEK-based micro/nano manipulation/assembly and 3D cell patterning.

 

WEN Yangdong (文扬东), at SIA, CAS

WEN Yangdong received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2013. He is currently working towards a Ph. D. degree at the State Key Laboratory of Robotics, Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenyang, China. His research interests include nano/bio robotics and nano/bio imaging using near-field optics.

 

ZHAO Wenxiu (趙文秀), at SIA, CAS

Zhao Wenxiu received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design & Manufacturing and Its Automation from Dalian University of Technology, China, in 2014. He is now studying in the University of Science and Technology of China, and is working towards a Ph. D. degree in the State Key Laboratory of Robotics, Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenyang, China. His dissertation work is related to nano/bio imaging and robotics.

 

JIA Boliang James (賈伯良), at CityU

JIA Boliang (James) received his B. Eng. degree in Electronic Engineering (December 2010) and M.Sc. degree in Biomedical Engineering (September 2011) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering Department in City University of Hong Kong. His research topic relates to microlens device design and fabrication for super-resolution imaging. Before joining CityU, James has worked in local companies developing Lab-on-a-chip platform for biomolecular detection since 2011.

 

CHEN Meng (陳猛), at CityU

Meng Chen received his BS degree of software engineering from Shenzhen University in 2009. He worked as an Research Assistant  in City University of Hong Kong Shenzhen Research Institute  from 2013 to 2015, in City University of Hong Kong from 2015 to 2016, and in Shenzhen Academy of Robotics from 2016 to 2017. He has been pursuing his PhD degree at the City University of Hong Kong since 2017. His research interests include sensing networks, network transmission protocols and machine learning.

 

ZHANG Yuzhao (章昱昭), at SIA, CAS

Zhang Yuzhao received her Bachelor’s degree in Automation from Hebei University of Technology, Tianjin, China, in 2016. Now, she is currently working towards a Ph. D. degree in the State Key Laboratory of Robotics, Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenyang, China. Her research interests include OEK-based micro/nano manipulation/assembly and functional materials for 3D cell patterning.

 

HUANG Qingyun (黄清云), at CityU

HUANG Qingyun received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Automation from Northeastern University at Qinhuangdao in 2014 and Master’s degree in Mechanical Design and Theory from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 2018. He has been pursuing his PhD degree at the City University of Hong Kong since 2018. His research interests include 3D-printing, micro-fabrication and big data analysis.

Kawai received his BS degree in Mechatronics from the City University of Hong Kong in 2015. He has been working as a Research Assistant at CityU after graduation. His research interests include transducers, artificial intelligence, robotics, data analysis, and machine learning.
